As an actor, I have the honor and responsibility of sharing someone's story. I believe in the importance of diving deeply into a character's backstory and allowing that to influence how a character lives and reacts in the moment.  By truthfully representing a character on stage, I am able to empathize with others who are unlike me or with whom I share similar struggles. I want others to know that they are not alone.
